hi! I’m *checks website header*. I’m a composer, sound designer, music producer and recording engineer (phew!) based in county Kerry, in the south west of Ireland. welcome to my website. this isn’t a shoes off house, so make yourself comfortable. I write music and create sound design for a variety of mediums and applications as well as producing music for bands and solo musicians. I have several studio spaces I work out of in Cork city and county Kerry but primarily work out of my home studio remotely (I’m equipped for location recording of concerts and performances or if you really want to record an album in a haunted house) . if you like what you have heard in the ‘work’ section of the site don’t hestitate to get in touch and we can see if I can help you realise your vision for the creative project you’re working on; a play, an installation, a short film, an album, mixing a song you have recorded, developing an immersive sound walk, an audio book.

there is nothing I love more than helping an artist (you) achieve their goal; the excitement and joy of collaborating and making with other human beings lights up my brain in ways that are too explicit for this website. since I was a teenager I have poured all my time and money into buying and learning instruments, microphones, pedals, speakers and gear in the pursuit of sonic exploration, writing music and making records. I never travelled the globe (it’s either vintage ribbon mics or intercontinental travel, folks) but the states of mind that all this exploration has have put me in feel like universes which I can recall and explore every time I pick up and instrument, place a microphone or assign an lfo. I’d like to think the diversity of projects I have been lucky enough to work on reflect that and that it comes across in some way no matter what I’m working on.
